Entry Thirty Seven: Short and Sweet

Greetings! I hope all you wonderful people are doing well this week! I don’t have a lot to talk about from this past week and I’m strapped for time because it’s deep cleaning P-Day, so I’ll spare y’all the essay and keep things Short and Sweet if you will.

It was a good week!

Had an exchange with my DL, we bonded over lots of things (including Destiny 2 lol) and worked pretty hard.
Not much progress in our area, but we got kicked out of Walmart again, and that really put a damper on things (Walmart is the one spot in town people are :/ )
My trainer completes his mission in a couple days, which is just crazy to fathom. Love ya Elder Driggs! Thank you for being the BEST trainer in the world and an even greater friend!
As you might have heard, President Nelson passed this week. He truly was an incredible man, and I will always be grateful for his prophetic teachings.
Lastly, it’s transfers this week, and so next week I could be in a completely different time zone. I’ll of course update y’all when that happens.

To close, I’d like to share one of my favorite quotes from President Nelson that I’ve come to discover on the mission. He says,

“Faith takes work. Receiving revelation takes work. But “every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” God knows what will help your faith grow. Ask, and then ask again.”

The gospel is so much simpler than we make it out to be, and it’s also so much more powerful than we can imagine. I am learning every day what President Nelson meant by saying God knows what will help our faith grow. I testify to you all that as we continually ask in faith and align ourselves to the Lord’s will, miracles will happen. Miracles surround us every day, whether we realize it or not. I leave these things with you in the name of Christ, amen.

Hear me as I pray in meekness; Let my strength be as thy day. Give me faith, the greater knowledge; Father, bless me as I pray.
