Entry Forty: “The Book of Mormon; Have you read this?”
Hallo! Hope y’all are doing great this week! To be perfectly honest, not a lot happened this week and I’m feeling particularly lazy this P-Day, so I’ll keep it really brief.
This week we had some goofy interactions with people. One guy hissed at us and made a cross out of his fingers. Another was harassing us, and after we politely told him off and walked away, he started following us (shoutout to Will Rivers for saving us from that guy lol).
People are interesting to say the least, but it becomes easier to love them if we remember one important truth: we are all children of God. Remembering this identity for others (and sometimes ourselves too) gives us a perspective change from looking at limitations to looking at potential. Through Jesus Christ we can tap into that potential and become something greater. Never forget this wonderful news! I testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
I believe in Christ; he stands supreme! From him I’ll gain my fondest dream; And while I strive through grief and pain, His voice is heard: “Ye shall obtain. I believe in Christ; so come what may, with him I’ll stand in that great day when on this earth he comes again to rule among the sons of men.
Love y’all!
-Elder Clayton
